Earn a Chance to Win a 2011 KIA Sorento at the
2010 KIA Motors Tournament of Champions
Georgia
tournament players may qualify for the KIA Motors Tournament of
Champions (TOC), USTA Georgia’s culminating NTRP Closed State
Championship (Oct. 15-17, 2010), by participating in at least
one of the Qualifying Series Events from Jan. 1 – Sept. 20,
2010. The Qualifying Series Events include all USTA
Georgia-sanctioned NTRP tournament with divisions men’s and
women’s 2.5 – 5.0, singles and doubles.
The TOC will not only bring the
strongest NTRP players from across the state to compete against
each other, but we have obtained special incentives from
sponsors to make the event an even more “can’t miss it” event
for Georgia players, including a drawing for those who qualify
for the TOC to . . .
“Hit It to Win It” – A 2011 Kia Sorento!
In addition to the “Hit It to Win It” contest, there will
be a catered Friday Night Player Party and Saturday lunch
provided. There will also be modified feed-in consolation rounds
to maximize your opportunity to play. T-shirts, trophies to top
2 finishers, and much more! This is Georgia’s premier NTRP
event!
The more NTRP events you play, the
better your chance to compete in the 2010 Kia Motors Tournament
of Champions, and to win a 2011 Kia Sorento!
Qualifying for the
2010 KIA Motors Tournament of Champions (703495410)
The top 16 men’s and women’s singles players and
doubles teams in each division (2.5 - 5.0) qualify based on their Georgia State NTRP Standings as of Sept. 20, 2010. The draw is limited to 16
to ensure the highest quality of competitors.
Because the
tournament uses “tournament director selection process,” anyone
may register for the Tournament of Champions, and the 16-draw
divisions will be filled by the tournament director, from
qualified competitors who register by Oct., 9, 2010, 11:59 p.m.
The tournament director uses the Georgia NTRP Standings as
of Sept. 20, 2010, in the qualifying divisions MW 2.5 – 5.0
singles and doubles.
Entry opens
on 02/01/2010 and closes on 10/09/2010. Draws will be posted
on 10/12/2010. Your credit card
will NOT be charged until (and if) you are accepted into the
tournament.
Register for the 2010 Tournament of Champions
Hotels
Discounted hotel rates and locations will be announced about a
month prior to the tournament. Be sure to mention you are with
the Tournament of Champions to receive reduced tournament rates.
First Match Check-In
Players should check in at least one hour prior to their first
match at the main tournament site, Peachtree City TC. Singles
matches will not begin until 5 p.m. Fri., and doubles matches
will begin no earlier than 5:30 p.m. Fri.
Friday Night Player Party and Saturday Lunch
Peachtree City TC will host a Friday Night Player Party, free
for participants (w/additional charge for guest). The tournament will also
provide a Saturday lunch at the main facility site for
participants.
